Their Story

Sabina, the proud founder and owner of Keto Your Way, lived in Dublin, working as an accountant for several years. During Covid, she lost her job and changed career paths. She launched Keto Your Way, a go-to- place where you can find a variety of products and information in relation to ketogenic and other low-carbohydrate diets.

THE SUCCESS IDENTITY

Their goal

Sabina was looking for a specialist to set up MailerLite email marketing for her ecommerce website dealing in keto products. Also, I would like the person to manage the account for me, set up the newsletter and other functions, etc. For this role, it needed someone with a background in internet marketing and able to prepare creative content based on her ideas and suggestions and research.

PULLING THE STRINGS

Role

I took on the role of handling the email marketing for Keto Your way, an eCommerce store dealing in keto products. Besides that, I also handled tasks such as her integrating her website with the email marketing system and helping her rebrand for holidays, sales, and events. We got traffic constantly as well as sales from the marketing campaigns.

Steps

The steps taken towards making the project a success were as follows (timeline below)

Onboarding

Sabina and I set up a call to formalize ourselves with each other as well as with the scope of the project.

Project kicks off

With everything smoothened out, and the necessary details exchanged, work commenced. I came up with some email templates and designs for your sequences.

Sequence 1: Onboarding

I started to work on the first sequence which was an onboarding sequence meant to welcome new subscribers and nurture our relationship with them.

Sequence 2: Christmas sequence

We setup an email sequence to drive sales as we approached the Christmas period, the campaign was successful and we got traffic to our website that converted to sales.

Other sequences

I set up additional email sequences to help maximise revenue including an abandon cart sequence, a reviews sequence among others carved out to educate our audience.

Challenges

A challenge we faced was merging old contacts with new ones and reduce the drop off rate when people registered for the coupon code. I achieved this by introducing a video tutorial to show new subscribers how to white-list our emails and find our emails in case they landed in the spam box. We were able to reduce the bounce rates and have more subscribers reading our emails.

THE WIN

Success

Working with Sabina we were able to lay out several email sequences and organically grow the email subscribers as well as the email list. We were also able to generate orders and sales for her brand!
